Study of public and private funding related to the use of pesticides in French agriculture

The aim of this study is to identify the public support and private funding associated with maintaining or reducing the use of pesticides in France, particularly in terms of subsidies, economic support measures, taxation, loans, etc. The research is based on a broad review of the literature, a quantitative analysis at farm level, and interviews with the players involved. This analysis is supplemented by a bibliographical comparison with other countries, in order to inform the development of public policy recommendations.
